If you need a spot to stay The Lodge at Rock Hill is a nice choice, and Beaverdam Pond is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Skyway Camping Resort is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Skyway Campgrounds is a nice local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail. Beaverdam Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month       of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Going for a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Belleayre. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Beaverdam Pond. Paddling on Neversink River - West Branch is so much fun; magnificent skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain. Neversink River - East Branch                  has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Seager West Branch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. South Hill is pretty and can be seen from Beaverdam Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a perfect little visit to Red Brook; a great close by hotel is Nevele Grande Resort. Summertime highs at Beaverdam Pond usually tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.
