     After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Little Falls is a great site to spend a night or two; do stop at Honnedaga Brook if you're here at Beaverdam Pond. The California Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Beaverdam Pond; First Stillwater is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit West Canada Creek - South Branch, and you'll never  
   forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McCauley Mountain since you're here.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The high level of precipitation makes Beaverdam Pond a quite wet place; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. If you come at the right time of year, West Canada Creek offers
 
               some wonderful whitewater, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Twin Lakes Trail.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Browns Tract Pond State Campground since you're here at Beaverdam Pond, and a lake close by is Gid Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Beaverdam Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Beaverdam Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Polack Mountain can be distinguished from Beaverdam Pond, and going for a hike on the Party Trail is always a splendid adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to camp here at Beaverdam Pond is OLD Forge Camping Resort.
