Throughout the warm months highs here at Beaver Ponds reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Beaver Ponds temperatures descend to the 0's. The view of pretty Buck Hill near Beaver Ponds is great, and the Indian Pass Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Beaver       Ponds gets a common amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls throughout August; the driest month is February. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Nate Pond Brook is a great local stream, and nearby you hit upon the Oregon Trail which is a fine hiking trail. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. A magnificent nearby hotel                  is Best Western Mountain Lake Inn; camping at Whispering woods is always a great experience. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Ponds. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Hudson River, and since you're here at Beaver Ponds, checking out Blue Ledge is a must. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Gore Mountain is fine; paddling on Indian River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Ponds is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
