Gore Mountain is a good local ski area; swing by Nate Pond Brook it's a perfect location to stop at. All through the warm days of summer here at Beaver Ponds, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beaver Ponds. This lake is so wonderful.
