If you need a place to stay Queensbury Hotel is a nice choice, and enjoy a round of golf at Valley View Golf Course. If the weather is wonderful here at Beaver Pond, you can go for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Winchell Creek. Beaver Pond gets a typical amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Be careful       coming to Beaver Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Sagamore; a day on the slopes of West Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poultney River, and going for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.                  There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Beaver Pond. If you came to camp Moreau Lake State Park is a nice place to do that, and Battle Hill is scenic and can be spotted from here. You'll meet a lot of folks from Glens Falls here. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, L G Campsite and R V Sales is a great spot for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Lakes are glorious; Dolph Pond is a lake that's near Beaver Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Willard Mountain is relatively near. Mettawee River is a great whitewater spot right next door to Beaver Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop.   The Sagamore, Bolton Landing 14 miles away The Sagamore is the perfect year-round getaway.
