    Go to Beaver Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. There's whitewater on Mettawee River for all you adrenaline junkies, and the skiing at West Mountain is pleasant. So much entertaining stuff close to Beaver Pond, absolutely incredible. Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and while you're here you can play some golf at Valley View Golf Course. Through the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 80's at Beaver Pond. For the period  
   of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Beaver Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Visit Winchell Creek if you're here at Beaver Pond; here at Beaver Pond you can distinguish Battle Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Glen Lake Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Glens Falls here at Beaver Pond. Beaver Pond
 
               is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, L G Campsite and R V Sales is a delightful location to camp nearby, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Poultney River.
The Lost Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and of course, this is a tremendous area for people who like lakes, Spruce Pond is a lake close by. There's great hiking along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and if you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a great choice. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Beaver Pond. Willard Mountain is a good local ski area.
The annual rain here at Beaver Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Dolph Pond is one of those nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moreau Lake State Park.
