There is a nice hiking trail next to Beaver Pond called the Long Swing Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area. A typical amount of rain falls here at Beaver Pond; the month with most of the rain is August while January is regularly the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a good time. At Beaver Pond you always meet someone       from Glens Falls, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail. Summertime highs at Beaver Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beaver Pond. From Beaver Pond you obtain a delightful view of Dixon Hill. You could also stop at Poker Pond since you're here at Beaver Pond; it's nearby, and glide down the rapids of Schroon River in a kayak. Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake George Escape Resort, and the Pharoah Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. West Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mohawk Campground is a brilliant site for that. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Pond.
