Beaver Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls during June while January is usually the driest month. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Beaver Pond. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ithaca is a wonderful choice, and don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Gorge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Pond is not far at all from Ithaca; Beaver Pond is a nice place       to visit for more than one day, Cool-lea Camp is a nice place to camp nearby. Go for a hike on the South Slope Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Cascadilla Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cayuta Creek, and great hiking is available along the Potomac Trail. Pine Creek Campground is a delightful local campground. Benjamin Hill can be observed from Beaver Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway                  Inn & Suites. Throughout the summer here at Beaver Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
