This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail; hiking along the Indian Pass Trail is pleasant fun. You get a great panorama of Van Dorrien Mountain from Beaver Pond, and going for a hike along the Van Hoevenberg Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This place, Beaver Pond,       it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Woodlake Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and a perfect place to camp here at Beaver Pond is Pioneer Village. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. You can run the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch close to Beaver Pond; Beaver Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Donaldson George A and Sons is a fine local campground. And that's not everything you can do here in the Adirondack                  Mountains. Whiteface Mountain is a great local ski area, and Ampersand Lake is a fine lake close by. All through the warm months highs here at Beaver Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beaver Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mountain Lake Inn, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cold River. Beaver Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
