An average amount of rainfall falls at Beaver Pond; August is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail; hiking along the Indian Pass Trail is pleasant fun. Mountains. Whiteface Mountain is a great local ski area, and Ampersand Lake is a fine lake close by. All through the warm months highs here at Beaver Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beaver Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mountain Lake Inn, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cold River.
Beaver Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mount Pisgah is perfect, and a wonderful lake like Little Ampersand Pond is a great location to have a look at.
