There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Yogi's Deer Run Campground is a pleasant place for that, and everybody close by loves skiing at Labrador Mountain. If you come at the right time of year, Sixmile Creek offers some nice whitewater. Econo Lodge Cortland is a pleasant location to get some rest, and Grandview Farms Golf Course is a golf course nearby. The amount of rain       that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Cortland Days Inn, and there are other spots here than Beaver Pond, for example Rightmire Pond. Be careful coming to Beaver Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Summit Pond in close proximity                  to Beaver Pond, and if you came to camp Country Hills is a magnificent place to do that. Summertime highs at Beaver Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Beaver Pond temperatures dip to the 10's.
