If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Cortland is a magnificent choice, and Grandview Farms Golf Course is a golf course close by. Camping is available at Yogi's Deer Run Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Cortland Days Inn. Beaver Pond is a good spot of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is regularly the driest month. That right there       is heaps already, but it goes on; Beaver Pond has it all. Sixmile Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot right next door to Beaver Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Labrador Mountain; Beaver Pond is not far at all from Cortland. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Beaver Pond; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's, and overnight                  lows in the 10's for Beaver Pond.
