    A visit to Beaver Pond is always a good idea. An average amount of precipitation falls at Beaver Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Take a little spree to Berry Pond Creek if you're here at Beaver Pond, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Pittsfield here. Float down the rapids of Konkapot Brook in a kayak, and one of the principal traits of the surroundings of Beaver Pond  
   is The Pinnacle.
This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Beaver Pond you could always look at Goodrich Hollow, and Pittsfield State Forest is a wonderful local forest. Any time is a good time at Beaver Pond if you like the outdoors. Beaver Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Privacy Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby; there are splendid places to discover along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Beaver
 
               Pond. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beaver Pond.
Get soaked paddling on Green River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bousquet is rather near. Lakes? Sure, Twin Pond is nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield is a great choice. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Beaver Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is always a delight; you can stay the night at Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites.
This lake is so wonderful. The snow is pleasant at Jiminy Peak, and not far from Beaver Pond you'll find Beaver Pond which is a stunning lake. Clover Mountain is an exciting location to go to while at Beaver Pond, and don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Turner Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail is always a perfect adventure, and after a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a delightful location to spend a night or two.

Purchase your tickets at the front of Crane Lodge, and sign up for lessons in the lower level of JJ's Lodge. You can make all the stops that you need on your way to the slopes in one convenient area!

For those of you who are interested in ski vacations, Jiminy Peak offers a number of lodging options. The Country Inn, an all-suite hotel is located slopeside. Also available are 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condominium rentals located throughout the property in order to accommodate your needs.

Catamount
I have the great fortune of living near Catamount so I can go pretty much any time I want. It's a great ski area for being of moderate size. Good variety of runs, no chance of getting bored....

this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed...
