A pretty lake like Buckeys Pond near Beaver Pond is a glorious place to go to, and going for a hike along the South Slope Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gardner Hill Campground is a good local campground, and if the weather is good,       you can go for a hike along the Finger Lakes Trail. Summer at Beaver Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Pond.
