I am sorry for your loss. She is a delightful spirit. I would still like to rent something on Wrighter Lake. Is her cottage still for rent or do you know of another one? I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, Betty... |
Fiddle Lake
 | 18 miles away My grandmother owned a house on Fiddle Lake. It is a beautiful area. Very secluded from the outside towns, however so if you are planning a trip, just know it takes about 45 minutes to get to the nearest town for groceries....Fiddle Lake is the highest eleveated lake in Pa so the water is still refreshing on hot summer days! Theres no public access for fishing but if you are lucky enough to find a cottage rental you can catch all the pan fish you want. Just release the bass due to lake association rules.... |

Elk Mountain
 | 21 miles away 3 PHOTOS Elk is uncrowded and really fun. They seem to make the best out off the conditions weather gives them. Good, long trails(for Pa). I liked the mini park. The ''bigger'' park made the best of the space. I surface lift in the park lets you session as long as you want, and stay in the park. Great for dialing in on my skillz. Couple of the rail and box features are really cool. I will go to Elk a couple times a year.... |
