This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. During the months of summer here at Bear Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bear Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at West Mountain, and why       not camp at Thousand Acres Ranch Resort while you're here at Bear Pond. You truly should have a thing about the Adirondack Mountains. Burnt Mountain is a peak you can spot from Bear Pond, and Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a nice site to get some rest. The amount of rain that falls at Bear Pond is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month. Any time is a nice                  time at Bear Pond if you go for the outdoors. The skiing at Gore Mountain is nice, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Lake George Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Near Bear Pond you discover a golf course called Thousand Acres Golf Club. A lake nearby is Coon Pond, and there's whitewater on Stony Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Number Nine Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and camping is available at Camp Dippikill Office.
