A nice close by hotel is Lake George, NY Travelodge, and the fine people of Glens Falls like to hang out close by. What would winter be without some skiing at West Mountain; why not camp at Ledgeview Village RV Park if you're here at Bear Pond. So much cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. There are some great whitewater spots on Hudson River; a nice place       to camp here at Bear Pond is Ledgeview RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glens Falls Lake George Red Roof is a nice choice; the view of pretty French Mountain is nice. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Bear Pond. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Top of the World Golf Course, and Bear Pond is not the only spot close by, Glen Lake is a close by lake. Bear Pond gets a normal                  amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Bloody Pond if you're here at Bear Pond; it's close by; wonderful scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Willard Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. For the period of the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Bear Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
