If you are traveling by, why not stop by Bear Lake. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes Trail is delightful fun. Coleman Dam is a spot that is near Bear Lake, and Bear Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Singing waters Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going
for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and delightful scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Woods Valley. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Adirondack
Mountains is peerless! Take a hike on the Stone Dam Trail, and not far from Bear Lake you'll stumble on Chub Pond which is a pretty lake. At Bear Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's while night lows are usually
in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bear Lake sink into the 0's.
