This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Lodge at Woodloch is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Callicoon Creek - East Branch. Don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Dry Brook, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Mount Tone. High temperatures       at Basket Pond all through the summertime are in the 80's; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Basket Pond tend to be in the 10's.
