month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Basic Creek Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Catskill Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's
no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Windham Mountain, and camping is available at Torchlight Campsites. Throughout the summer months at Basic Creek Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Through the dark
hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Basic Creek Reservoir.

We are located in the beautiful Schoharie Valley and nestled between the Catskill, Helderberg and Adirondack Mountains. Just 3 miles south of the small town of Middleburgh and about 10 miles from the college town of Cobleskill. Albany and Schenectady are about 30-45 minutes away and Saratoga Springs, Cooperstown is nearby. Howe Caverns, Secret Caverns and Iroquois Indian Museum is 15 minutes away. If you are looking for a place to relax and leave the hustle and bustle behind, we are the place for you. We are a quiet, clean and peaceful campground and we hope to see you one of these days.
