     Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Middle Saranac Lake, and Woodlake Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest. The peak of Plymouth Rock can be spotted from Bartlett Pond. Lakes? Sure, Tamarack Pond is nearby. The yearly rain here at Bartlett Pond is about average; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month.

   is a great local campground; dry warm beds await you at THE HOTEL SARANAC. Through the warmest time of the year at Bartlett Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Bartlett Pond. Bartlett Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Cold
 
               River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Meacham Lake Outlet, and Hungry Bay is not far at all. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking along the McKenzie Pond Trail is pleasant fun, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Pisgah.
But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Cherokee is a perfect place to camp, and going for a hike along the Indian Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
