This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Bear Pond Trail. There's so much to do here at Bartlett Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Craig Harbor Canyon is a nice place for that. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Bartlett Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come       with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bartlett Pond drop into the 0's. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too splendid to be true. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Pond Trail. Bartlett Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place for whitewater                  paddling next to Bartlett Pond is Boquet River; after a long day outdoors Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Mud Pond is a perfect lake in the vicinity of Bartlett Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bartlett Pond; Clear Pond Trail is a wonderful local trail. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Mill Creek, and a great nearby hotel is Basin Harbor Club. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Bartlett Pond.
