Bartlett Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There are great sites to explore along the McKenzie Pond Trail; there's whitewater on Ausable River - West Branch for all you adrenaline kick people. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Bartlett Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering Pines Campground is a nice local campground.

| | Summer at Bartlett Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Bartlett Pond temperatures dip to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Two Brooks flows through this area, and Craig Wood Golf & Country Club is a golf course close by. If you came to camp Adirondak Loj is a splendid spot to do | |

that, and you can run the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Bartlett Pond; the month with most of the rain is August; February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is one
of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This place rules, just look at all the fun things to do close to Bartlett Pond. Go for a hike on the Schwartz Trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Swiss Acres Inn. Not enough
hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Indian Pass Trail, naturally you could also check out Lake Placid since you're here; it's not far at all.
If you need a spot to stay The Whiteface
Lodge is a great choice, and the nice folks of Malone like to hang out nearby. Any time is a pleasant time at Bartlett Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Pisgah, and a magnificent panorama of scenic Big Burn Mountain is available.
