    Beautiful Bartlett Pond has much to offer visitors. Skiing at Whiteface Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do, and this is a popular spot for folks from Malone. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club is always a joy; why not camp at Whispering Pines Campground since you're here at Bartlett Pond. So many entertaining things right next door to Bartlett Pond, clearly impressive. Take a hike on the  
   Schwartz Trail.
Bartlett Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The annual rain here at Bartlett Pond is about average; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ausable River - West Branch, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Lake Placid.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping
 
               is available at Adirondak Loj, and why not take a refreshing hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail. During the long summer days, highs generally are in the 70's at Bartlett Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bartlett Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Pisgah if you're here; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Two Brooks.
Float down the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch in a kayak, and a great nearby hotel is The Whiteface Lodge. Having a perfect time at Bartlett Pond is easy. Loch Bonnie is a great lake close to Bartlett Pond, and after a long day outdoors Swiss Acres Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is delightful, you acquire a delightful panorama of Big Burn Mountain from Bartlett Pond; hiking along the Indian Pass Trail is great fun.

Silver Lake Mt. is a glorious hike. Its not too difficult for the amateur hikers and has a few trails off to the side that are a bit more difficult and fun for the experienced hikers. Its a great place for a family or business day retreat and provides phenomenal views of the North Countries natural beauty. Enjoy the trail but remember to keep it clean and well maintained. A little effort can go a long way......
