In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Barnes Pond is one of them. Haystack Knob is clearly visible from Barnes Pond, and the snow is wonderful at Whiteface Mountain. So much fun stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Going for a hike on the Silver Lake Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and after a long day outdoors Mountain Brook Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. | | Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Barnes Pond.

Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Schwartz Trail. A day on the slopes of Mount Pisgah is just what you need; you'll stumble on a delightful lake called Dow Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Barnes
Pond that you need to camp here for a while, North Pole Campground is a delightful place for that; if you're stopping by from Plattsburgh, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Birch Tree Lodge is a fine place to get
some rest. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Barnes Pond rules! Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saranac River, and Fall Brook is in the neighborhood of Barnes Pond and is
always a pleasure to explore.
Barnes Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
