If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Barnes Lake. This is a glorious area for people who like lakes. Lake Te-Ata is a lake in close proximity; there are some fine whitewater spots on Moodna Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge West Point is a delightful place to get some rest, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. panorama of Blackcap Mountain from Barnes Lake, and skiing at Sterling Forest is one of those things you just should do. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mt. Peter. Lakes are good; Lower Twin Lake is a lake that's near Barnes Lake.
