Many people like to go to Balsam Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Round Pond near Balsam Lake, it's a pretty lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dry Brook. Camping at Willowemoc Campgrounds is always a splendid experience; if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a good choice. So much cool stuff to do here in the Catskill Mountains, too good to be true. Balsam

| | Lake is close to Dog Hollow which is beyond doubt worth checking out; Mill Brook is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
Balsam Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Hit the slopes at Belleayre in the vicinity, and Days Inn Of Liberty is a brilliant spot to get some rest.

wonderful. You get a brilliant panorama of Balsam Lake Mountain from Balsam Lake, and hiking along the Seager West Branch Trail is pleasant fun. All year is a glorious time in the Catskill Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. The
best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Plattekill, and camping is available at Covered Bridge Campsite.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Balsam Lake. Once the sun is down it dips
down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Balsam Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Catskill Mountains.
