Baldwin Pond is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Baldwin Pond. Stay the night at Stratton Falls Campground, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Inn Of Cobleskill is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend West Kill River; Nickerson Park Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. The

back home again. Summertime highs at Baldwin Pond typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Baldwin Pond are in the 10's.

Cobleskill Reservoir
 | 12 miles away I have been to this reservoir many times and highly recommend it to anyone. It's got good fishing and its a very big area to just go out and relax while trying to catch some dinner. I cant say I've caught many big ones but many many sunfish and smallmouth. I know there are trout in the upper pond and walleye in the pond furthest to the left. Also large and smallmouth bass are in all three. Great place to go.... |
