This lake is so wonderful. The Schiff Trail offers hiking at its best. An afternoon playing golf at Hotel Concord & Country Club is always a delight. There's so much to do here at Baileys Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Town Of Fallsburg Parks Department is a tremendous place for that. Summertime highs at Baileys Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. When the night       sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Baileys Lake during the wintertime generally plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Peenpack Trail, and a day on the slopes of Holiday Mountain is just what you need. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's magnificent hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail, and after a long day outdoors                  Best Western Monticello is a fine place to spend a night or two. A quick trip to Tannery Brook near Baileys Lake is a tremendous idea, and Super 8 Monticello NY is a tremendous location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Baileys Lake has to offer, you can camp at All Seasons Campsite; if you've had enough of Baileys Lake, Kiamesha Lake is nearby. Baileys Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
