Bacon Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Bacon Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The skiing at West Mountain is great, and a tremendous close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Queensbury - NY. And that's not all you can do here at Bacon Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Queensbury C C Golf Course is always a pleasure, and Hudson River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.

| | RV Park is a magnificent place to camp. Lakes? Sure, Sly Pond is close at hand. For the period of the long summer days here at Bacon Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Bacon Pond through the winter generally plunge into the 0's. Swamps are interesting spots and Mud Pond in the vicinity of Bacon Pond is no exception, | |

All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. From Bacon Pond you acquire a brilliant sight of
Sugar Loaf; Buttermilk Falls is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Six Flags Great Escape Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two; there are plenty of people from Glens Falls here at
Bacon Pond.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Bacon Pond; most of the rain falls throughout August, and January is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Everybody
nearby loves skiing at Willard Mountain, and not far from Bacon Pond you'll stumble on Hadlock Pond which is a delightful lake.
