New York has many beautiful lakes and Atwood Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn Little Falls is a great choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit West Canada Creek. Summer at Atwood Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Atwood Lake dip into the

So much fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just incredible. A striking lake like Bullhead Pond close to Atwood Lake is a splendid location to go to, and camping at Adirondack Gateway Campground is always a pleasant experience. Lake will keep you coming back again and again. There's brilliant hiking along the California Trail; one of the main traits of the surroundings of Atwood Lake is McCauley Mountain.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things
in the Adirondack Mountains. Skiing at McCauley Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail. Atwood Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; August is the wettest
month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Atwood Lake; Party Trail is a pleasant local trail, and you'll discover a scenic lake called Mad Tom Lake.
