There are some glorious whitewater spots on Esopus Creek, and Cookingham Hill can be seen from Apple Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Several downed trees and a huge beaver dam were the worst obstacles. Bingham Mills to Dales Bridge has some dangerous spots.
