Second Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Raquette River. At Anthony Ponds during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All       through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Anthony Ponds drop into the 0's. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Adirondack Mountains. A lake nearby is Hedgehog Pond; dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. The yearly precipitation here at Anthony Ponds is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest                  month. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Anthony Ponds. If you came to camp Hoss's Country Campground is a brilliant place to do that; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little trip to nearby Slim Point is a fine idea, and Beaver Brook is in the vicinity of Anthony Ponds and is always a diversion to stop by. Anthony Ponds is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
