If you come at the right time of year, Boreas River - Upper offers some brilliant whitewater, and glorious skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain. Lake Andrew gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just must do, and you're probably interested in lakes, Cheney Pond is one of those nearby. | |

During the summertime months at Lake Andrew highs are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lake Andrew. This
lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a perfect adventure, and camping at Cedar Pond Campground is always a great experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River; fine hiking is available
along the McKenzie Pond Trail. All year is a tremendous time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors. A brilliant nearby hotel is Swiss Acres Inn, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Beaver Pond is just a very short distance away.
