Lake Andrew gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lake Andrew in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. So many cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too glorious to be true. Camping is available at Pioneer Village; you can go for a hike on the Van Hoevenberg Trail. Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just must do, and you're probably interested in lakes, Cheney Pond is one of those nearby.                  During the summertime months at Lake Andrew highs are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a perfect adventure, and camping at Cedar Pond Campground is always a great experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River; fine hiking is available along the McKenzie Pond Trail. All year is a tremendous time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors.
