Amity Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn & Suites Wellsville is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and a round of golf at nearby Serenity Hills Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Amity Lake. When the night sets in temperatures       drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Amity Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a great vista of Oak Hill from Amity Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rushford Lake Outlet. The snow is glorious at Ski Denton; there's whitewater on Genesee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.                  Lakes? Sure, Saunders Pond is in close proximity, and a great nearby hotel is Long Vue Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. A quick journey to Cooley Creek near Amity Lake is a good idea, and you can stay the night at Evergreen Trails Campground.
