This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Callicoon Creek - East Branch next to Amber Lake, and camping is available at Happy Days Campground. While you're here at Amber Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Meyers Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Liberty. And if that's not enough, there's lots more       to do near Amber Lake. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Peenpack Trail, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Holiday Mountain. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Island Glen Country Club is in the neighborhood, and unsurprisingly Judson Brook flows through this neighborhood. Take a hike on the Schiff Trail; you'll stumble on a stunning lake called White Lake. The warmest time of the year at Amber Lake arrives                  with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Amber Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail is pleasant fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Chipinaw Camp Chipinaw is a great spot to camp.
