Alta Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. A magnificent location to camp here at Alta Lake is Fallsburg Town Of. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Alta Lake. Camping at Town Of Fallsburg Parks Department is always a pleasant       experience, and there are tremendous places to discover along the Seager West Branch Trail. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Monticello is a brilliant choice, and while you're here and you like golf, you can check out Lochmor Golf Course. Alta Lake is not the only place close by, Evens Lake is a close by lake, and going for a hike on the Peenpack Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Alta Lake, you could also                  take a look at close by Morningside Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neversink River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Alta Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
