Allen Falls Reservoir is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and of course, this is a perfect vicinity for people       who like lakes, Close Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Higley Flow State Park is a tremendous campground nearby; whitewater paddling is nice on Trout Brook River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn Massena is a good choice, and paddling on St. Regis River - West Branch is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at Massena Super 8 Motel, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by                  close by Five Falls Reservoir. Summer at Allen Falls Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Allen Falls Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
