Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Alice; Woodtown Trail is a good local trail; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek. The Thayer Hotel is a splendid place to get some rest, and Moodna Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; if you've had enough of Lake Alice,       Curry Pond is close by. If you're here, you might as well stop at South Mountain Pass, and the snow is perfect at Sterling Forest. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Lake Alice. Canopus Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting; why not camp at Beaver Pond if you're here at Lake Alice. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lake Alice. This lake is so wonderful.                  For you golfers we recommend nearby The Garrison Golf Club; if you came for an overnight stay Sebago Cabins Harriman is a glorious location to camp. If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a magnificent sight of Canada Hill from Lake Alice, and great hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail. All through the summer here at Lake Alice, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's.
