This is a delightful region for folks who like lakes. Haber Pond is a lake close by, and camping is available at Whetstone Gulf. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Babcock Campground is a nice place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Negro Brook has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby,       and gorgeous scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Snow Ridge. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Woods Valley while you're here. An average amount of rainfall falls at Alexander Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February.
