If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a great place to camp, and Aleck Meadow Reservoir is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Aleck Meadow Reservoir gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Take a hike on the Woodtown Trail; you'll stumble       on a delightful lake called Sutherland Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Highland Falls, and if you're here, you could also go to lovely Crystal Lake. At Aleck Meadow Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a brilliant local campground, and Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area around here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the vicinity of Aleck Meadow Reservoir has to offer. You can distinguish Black Rock from Aleck Meadow Reservoir; playing golf is lots of fun at Central Valley Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
