If you are in Orange county it's always a good idea to stop by Aleck Meadow Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a great place to camp, and Aleck Meadow Reservoir is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Aleck Meadow Reservoir gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. | | on a delightful lake called Sutherland Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Highland Falls, and if you're here, you could also go to lovely Crystal Lake. At Aleck Meadow Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Rock Hollow is a good place to explore close by, and there are some good whitewater spots on Moodna Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Aleck Meadow Reservoir. Head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet, and
there's whitewater on Popolopen Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a brilliant local campground, and Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area around here. You just
can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the vicinity of Aleck Meadow Reservoir has to offer. You can distinguish Black Rock from Aleck Meadow Reservoir; playing golf is lots of fun at Central Valley Golf Club.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and Econo Lodge West Point is a wonderful place to get some rest.
