Alcove Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Alcove Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Alcove Reservoir. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Catskill Mountains. Alcove Reservoir is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Don Knudsen

| | is a splendid site to camp nearby; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hannacrois Creek. The Catskill Mountains scenery is always beautiful. moisture. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Catskill Mountains. The top of Mud Hill is easily seen from Alcove Reservoir. Best Western New Baltimore Inn is a good site to get some rest; Sycamore Country Club
is a delightful golf course close by. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Alcove Reservoir has it all. A delightful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WEST COXSACKIE; since you might be in a lake
visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Silver Lake. Lots of folks from Albany-Schenectady-Troy come to Alcove Reservoir, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is Basic Creek.
