Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rock River, and Cedar Pond Campground is a glorious campground nearby. This spot is peerless, just explore all the exciting things to do right next door to Adirondack Lake. Big Brook is a good spot to visit; Adirondack Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Hoss's Country Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Mallard Point is not far from Adirondack Lake at all, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Adirondack

| | Lake; Sucker Brook Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Oregon Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Adirondack Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Adirondack Lake are in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids
of Indian River in a kayak, and if you get bored of Adirondack Lake you could also pop by nearby Bullhead Pond. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. From Adirondack Lake you get
a great view of Crow Hill; a lake close by is Indian Lake. You clearly should have a thing about the Adirondack Mountains. There's glorious hiking along the Northville Lake Placid Trail; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Gore Mountain.

Northville Lake Placid Trail
 | Not sure where Plumley's Point is but I hiked the Northville Lake Placid trail about 4 or 5 miles north from Long Lake village and it was fairly well maintained (just a little overgrowth). At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over. You must make a detour to the left and bushwack to some rocks to cross (hiked June 09)...8/14/09 I'm wondering if anyone knows the trail conditions for the Northville Lake Palcid trail from Long Lake village to near Plumley's Point-... |
