Whipple Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Not much rainfall falls here at Whipple Reservoir; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; June meanwhile is the driest month. Big Spring Wash is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and if you came for an overnight stay Hot Creek Campground is a perfect place to camp. At Whipple Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 90's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's while Whipple Reservoir night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. | |
