Wheeler Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are plenty of folks from Reno-Sparks here at Wheeler Reservoir, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lakeridge Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Moana Hot Springs will fill your spirit with perfect feelings, and delightful skiing awaits

| | you at Mt. Rose. Wheeler Reservoir is pretty dry mostly; most of the rain falls all through January, and the driest month is August.
Any time is a great time at Wheeler Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Wheeler Reservoir is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Silver Sage RV Park is a fine place to camp nearby. Lakes? temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wheeler Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Club Lakeridge, and a great location
for whitewater paddling is Truckee River. Tiki Village Trailer Park is a magnificent local campground, and Manzanita Lake is a great lake nearby. If you need a location to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton-« Reno is a good choice, and
you can go for a hike on the Mount Rose Trail.
This site is great, just explore all the fun things to do in close proximity to Wheeler Reservoir. It's a great idea to stop by Evans Creek, it's close to Wheeler Reservoir, and great
hiking is available along the Mount Rose Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. An interesting thing to explore near Wheeler Reservoir is Wheeler Reservoir Dam; Diamond Peak has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
