Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Carson River - East Fork, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Gardnerville/Carson City is a glorious choice. At Topaz Lake you don’t see much rain; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Visit California Creek since you're here at Topaz Lake.

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. Meadowcliff Lodge & RV Resort

...m 25-30 feet in width and 40-68 feet in depth. Sites are graveled which allow for easy in and out access. Large 12-14 trees populate each site along with a picnic table.
The new bathhouse was built for use by RV’ers. There are four private baths each with its own shower, sink and toilet. There is also a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers and for the RV groups that want a place to have a pot-luck or to play cards, there is even a clubhouse.
RV’ers also have full access to the other amenities of the Resort, such as, swimming pool, horseshoes, swings, walking paths and more.
Of course, the surrounding area allows for a number of outdoor activities such as, fishing, boating , skiing, ATV riding, hiking, snowmobiling, bird watching and so much more!
The Meadowcliff Restaurant is located on the property and is open daily from 6 AM 2 PM serving great breakfasts and lunches. Starting the end of April, dinners will be served until at least 8 PM on Friday and Saturdays and more evenings as demand dictates.
