And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hidden Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; what would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Rose. So many enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal. While you're here at Tamarack Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14; you'll meet a lot of people from       Carson City here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tamarack Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's while Tamarack Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Tamarack Lake is unbeatable! Hidden Beach is in the neighborhood of Tamarack Lake and is a charming beach to take a look at, and gorgeous scenery and great                  skiing is what you get at Diamond Peak. A good close by hotel is Hyatt High Sierra Lodge, and on a delightful day you can visit Incline Beach. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Tamarack Lake gets very little rain; through January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Washoe Lake State Park, and you could always discover Contact Pass. If you get bored of Tamarack Lake, you could also go to close by Lower Price Lake, and Tahoe Meadows is a delightful spot. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Truckee River, and the Carson Range is a major feature of the area nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading.
