Sunflower Reservoir is next to Coleman Canyon which is positively worth a visit, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Gold Creek Trail.       Why not camp at Big Bend Campground if you're here at Sunflower Reservoir, and you're sure to stumble upon some nice people from Elko here. It is very dried out here at Sunflower Reservoir typically; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sunflower Reservoir you get some nice water scenery at Sunflower Dam; if you get bored of Sunflower Reservoir you could                  also have a look at nearby Scott Table Reservoir.
