Why not camp at Shoshone Campground if you're here at The Seep; the Baker Shoshone Trail offers hiking at its best. A magnificent site to camp here at The Seep is Wheeler Peak Campground, and of course, all our national parks are nice spots to stop at and Great Basin National Park is no exception. Summer brings highs in the 80's to The Seep. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's,

There's perfect hiking along the Bristlecone Pine Glacier Trail, and Dry Lakes is a delightful lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. May, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Don't leave The Seep without first going for a hike along the Highland Ridge Trail.
