American Campgrounds is a good campground nearby. Lakes are great; Joe May Guzzler is a lake that's near Searles Reservoir. Not much precipitation falls here at Searles Reservoir; through March this area sees the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 100's at Searles Reservoir. All through the dark hours of summer       temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Searles Reservoir. This place, the Sheep Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things.
