Not much rain falls here at Powell Trough; through the month of January you get the most rain around here; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Powell Trough has to offer, you can camp at Topaz Lake RV Park; a brilliant close by hotel is Topaz Nugget Casino. Summertime highs at Powell Trough ordinarily tend to be in the 80's,       and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Powell Trough tend to be in the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on West Walker River for all you adrenaline junkies, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Corral Valley Trail. Powell Trough is a perfect site to camp,                  Wellington Station Resort is a perfect site, and going for a hike along the Lost Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Powell Trough is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And that's not all you can do here at Powell Trough.
