The cheerful folks of Reno-Sparks like to hang out close by, and you can stay the night at Dayton State Park. At Meeker Pond you don’t see much precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Meeker Pond through the warm months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
