Nevada has many beautiful lakes and Manzanita Lake is one of them. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Rose, and you're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Reno-Sparks here. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hit the slopes at Diamond Peak around here; a delightful nearby hotel is Circus Circus Reno Hotel Casino. So much exciting stuff to do at Manzanita Lake, so little time. A round

| | of golf at nearby Rosewood Lakes Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Manzanita Lake; Mount Rose Trail is a great local trail.

Reservoir. You completely have to go for the Northern Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the Mount Rose Trail; glide down the rapids of Truckee River in a kayak.
At Manzanita Lake throughout the long summer days highs
are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Manzanita Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake
is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn Reno is a splendid choice. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Reno KOA if you're here at Manzanita Lake, and why not have a look at Highland Reservoir Dam while you're here.
