If you are in Washoe county it's always a good idea to stop by Lower Price Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lower Price Lake is not the only spot nearby, Twin Lakes is a nearby lake, and after a long day outdoors Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino is a good spot to spend a night or two. Get wet paddling on Truckee River. Camping at Mount Rose Campground is always a great experience, and if you get bored of Lower

Be careful coming to Lower Price Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Really nice skiing awaits you at Mt. Rose, and if you yearn for a little side trip, try Mount Rose Summit. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Lower Price Lake is commonly a rather dried out location; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest.

at Lower Price Lake is Washoe Lake State Park, and Diamond Peak has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. PARKSIDE INN AT INCLINE is a tremendous place to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Rose Trail.
