Go to Lost Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Overland Lake near Lost Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Ruby Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Ruby Crest Trail, and camping is available at Lee Jiggs Campground. At Lost Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most,

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Smith Creek Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay South Fork State Recreation Area is a perfect place to camp. Lost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ruby Mountains. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a wonderful choice, and the peak of Drown Peak can be seen from Lost Lake.
